I’ve been thinking a lot about the moment we’re in. About the threats that
come with speaking out. And I want to be clear about something.

If anything ever happens to me — if I’m ever killed by one of these
right-wing extremists — I want you to politicize the hell out of it.
Immediately. I’m talking before my blood runs cold.

* Use it to demand gun laws.
* Use it to call out the politicians who enabled it.
* Use it to raise hell and kick out every Democrat and Republican who
stood in the way of progress.

This is not a note I’m writing out of fear. It’s a note I’m writing with
purpose. I’m sharing this because we live in a dangerous world, and
silence has never kept us safe.

I will never be the person who says “don’t make this political” — because
our lives are already political. Our schools. Our streets. Our futures.
They’ve been politicized by people with power who refuse to protect us.

So if they ever try to say I wouldn’t have wanted people to speak out if
I’m gone…

Don’t believe it.

I do want people to speak up, to take action. Now and always. That’s why
I’m in this fight.

We believe a better future is possible — one that’s free from gun
violence, fueled by courage, and powered by young people who aren’t afraid
to demand more.

Stay safe. Stay loud. And keep going.
