Looking back on my life, I never thought I’d be here, running for Senate.

But I’m glad I am. Because every step of the way, from small-town Mississippi to the courtroom, this campaign has been grounded in one simple truth: Mississippi is worth fighting for.

And that's exactly why I’m running, because Mississippi’s best days are still ahead of us.

But under Cindy Hyde-Smith, our children are not receiving the opportunities and resources they need to succeed in life. So I’m showing up to be the role model I needed as a child and to fight for a future where every Mississippian has the chance to dream big and aim even higher.

I’ve spent my career keeping Mississippians safe and standing up for what’s right, no matter who’s in charge.

But this moment demands more than just experience; the candidate who fills this Senate seat needs heart.

This moment needs a candidate who understands what it’s like to grow up towing the line between poverty and possibility; someone who knows that faith, family, and hard work are the cornerstones of our state, and someone who always puts Mississippians first.

That’s not what we’re getting with Cindy Hyde-Smith.

She’s voted against lowering costs for working families while protecting tax breaks for billionaires.

She’s refused to expand Medicaid, putting over 600,000 Mississippians at risk and pushing rural hospitals to close their doors.

And now, she’s being ranked as one of the most ineffective Senators nationwide because she never prioritizes the people she’s supposed to serve.

Mississippi deserves better.

I’m running to be the kind of Senator Mississippians feel proud of, someone who delivers results that working families can see the impact of, and someone who never stops fighting for the place we all call home.
