Donald Trump and his MAGA allies just slashed $500 million in funding for NPR and PBS — crippling local stations across the
country.

That means children’s programs like Sesame Street could disappear, rural and tribal communities could lose their only trusted
local news, and countless Americans could be left with nothing but right-wing talk radio.
