Our public lands should be accessible to everyone. The more we fund public transit to increase access to public lands, the easier it is for all of California's communities to take part in celebrating and enjoying our beautiful outdoor spaces.
That's why EnviroVoters is celebrating Public Lands Day by leading a Transit to Trails event in Orange County! We'll be taking the bus up to Cleveland National Forest to picnic, laugh, connect, and write letters to advocate for public land protections. Click this link to learn more about the event—and stop by if you're in Southern California!
In a time when public lands are under attack and the world seems hard, it's so important to carve out space for joy, celebration, and positivity in the outdoors.
Hope you get to spend time outside this weekend!
