John,

Donald Trump and his MAGA allies tried to force states to hand over highly sensitive information about people who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) — including Social Security numbers and home addresses.

Minnesota was put in an impossible position: comply and risk exposing our residents to harm, or refuse and face the Trump administration’s threat to cut off critical SNAP funding. More than 400,000 Minnesotans rely on this program to put food on the table.

I took the Trump administration to court — and we won a temporary order blocking their unlawful actions. This is a victory for Minnesotans, but the fight isn’t over.

I’ll keep standing up for Minnesotans’ right to privacy, but I can’t do it alone. Our campaign has a critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline on Tuesday, September 30, and meeting our $30,000 fundraising goal before then is essential to showing that we’ll keep fighting back.

Will you contribute $10, $25, $50, or any amount to help us meet our goal and continue fighting for Minnesotans?
