Project description: Crow Wing County (County) is proposing to increase the capacity of its existing municipal solid waste landfill. The County is proposing an expansion to the north and west of the current Landfill, resulting in a request for 3,837,000 cy of additional permitted capacity through Cell 7 (Project). The expansion will include composite liners, leachate collection systems, leak detection, environmental monitoring, stormwater management, and landfill gas collection systems. Project description: Leisure Hotels and Resorts is proposing construction of an expansion to the existing Quarterdeck Resort site located in Fairview Township, Cass County, Minnesota. Project description: The BLRT Extension is a light rail transit project (project) located in the cities of Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, Crystal, & Brooklyn Park. A Supplemental EIS (SEIS) is needed because it was necessary to move the project forward without using freight rail property & the modified route has potential for significant impacts. Based on technical considerations and community input, a modified route was recommended to advance by the Metropolitan Council and Hennepin County on June 22, 2022. The SEIS will study the following route: W. Broadway Ave in Brooklyn Park to Bottineau Blvd (County Road 81), CR 81 in Crystal & Robbinsdale to W. Broadway Ave in North Minneapolis, and multiple potential routes (W. Broadway Ave or 21st Ave; Lyndale or a route east of I-94) to Target Field Station. Project description: The AUAR study area encompasses an area totaling approximately 359 acres on 17 parcels in the City of Chaska and Dahlgren Township, Carver County, Minnesota. The study area is located northwest of Chaska Boulevard and US 212. Two parcels within the AUAR study area are located within Dahlgren Township; these parcels are intended to be annexed into the City of Chaska. Two development scenarios are proposed to be evaluated in the AUAR. Scenario 1 and Scenario 2 both include Business Park (industrial/office) and Commercial land uses. Project description: The AUAR area includes one parcel that comprises approximately 137.7 acres in St. Michael, Wright County, Minnesota. The AUAR area is generally located west of Kadler Ave NE and north of Lake Wilhelm, and is bisected by Jamison Ave/17th St NE. The AUAR area has historically been used for agricultural purposes. Summergate Companies LLC (Proposer) is proposing to develop the AUAR area into a master planned residential development over the next few years. The concept plan and Development Scenario are consistent with the City's adopted comprehensive plan which guides the AUAR area for low-density residential development.

These reports were received via the Minnesota Duty Officer prior to the submission deadline for this edition of the EQB Monitor. They represent the raw data/information provided by callers.
