National news is shocking, and Trump and his loyalists aren’t doing a thing to turn down the temperature. Meanwhile, the Texas GOP is on a tear: expanding Operation Lonestar, terrorizing folks on our southern border, pushing cruel anti-immigrant bills, redrawing Congressional maps to dilute our voices and votes, and laying the groundwork for power grabs everywhere they can.
And while they point fingers and try to distract from the chaos they created, our communities are bearing the cost:
- Public resources being defunded and destroyed.
- Families being split up unlawfully by ICE.
- Voters being carved out of districts and cut out of decisions.
This is what GOP control looks like — and it’s exactly why the fight for Texas matters so much heading into 2026. It’s why we’re prepping like hell to Flip the Damn House. Because we know our families can’t withstand much more of this cruelty.
