I’m reaching out about our upcoming filing deadline — the first of our campaign so far — but I wanted to make sure you had some important context:
Nationwide, Republicans and GOP-aligned groups have been outraising Democrats in the lead-up to next year’s midterm elections, and our election in North Carolina is expected to become the most expensive U.S. Senate race in history.
My GOP opponent and his allies will be forced to make spending decisions they may not want to make based on what we can raise now, John xxxxxx. With all that in mind, it’s even more important for us to show our financial strength in this report.
This is the most consequential Senate election of 2026, and if we win here, Democrats have the chance to take back the majority and stop the far-right’s extreme agenda. Meeting our fundraising goals is key to our chances of success in this toss-up race.
But we have a long way to go to hit our end-of-quarter target, and we’re running out of time to get there.
