| Fellow American, I’m writing to you today with big news: I’m officially running to represent Texas’s 35th Congressional District in the United States Congress. This decision wasn’t made lightly. For me, it’s about home. It’s about family. It’s about Texas values. My family has called Texas home for over 250 years — going back to 1773, when my ancestors settled in Texas as Spanish land grantees. Land on the Rio Grande, which remains in the family to this day. I’m an 8th-generation Texan, raised in a multi-generational military family that instilled a deep respect for service, sacrifice, and duty to our country. My family built their lives here through faith, hard work, and community — and those values shaped who I am today. Now, I’m stepping forward to serve this region that gave so much to me and my family. I believe South Texas deserves a leader who never forgets where they came from, stands with President Trump on our border — and who always puts the people of this district first. The stakes in this race could not be higher. TX-35 is one of the most hotly contested seats in America and it’s a top pickup opportunity for the America First movement. This district was written off for years as a guaranteed blue seat — but that’s changed. In 2024, President Trump carried this whole region after losing it in previous elections. This proves that South Texas is Trump country now. Families are rejecting the empty promises of woke radical liberal politicians. They are demanding new leadership that reflects our values — faith, freedom, hard work, and opportunity. This is our window to finish what we started — to FLIP TX-35, secure a lasting conservative majority for Texas, and bring a new generation of leadership to Congress. I didn’t know it at the time, but by the Grace of God, I’ve spent my career preparing for this moment. I’ve built businesses and created jobs as an entrepreneur and small business owner. I’ve worked on the front lines of politics, helping flip neighboring TX-15 for the first time in a century and forging relationships with community leaders across South Texas. I’ve taught in the classroom as a college professor, invested in the next generation, and served on Capitol Hill as a Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor — where I fought daily to protect our values and way of life from the out-of-touch Washington elite. I’m proud to be a life-long conservative, I’m proud to stand for the America First agenda, and I’m proud to fight for the people of South Texas — because this district isn’t just where I live… It’s who I am. But I’ll be honest with you — winning this race will take a true grassroots movement. Democrats are going to come after me with everything they have. This seat is critical to their path to power, and they’ll flood it with outside blue state money from woke D.C. special interests who don’t have the slightest clue about Texans and our values. That’s why I’m turning to you, right from the start. I need your help to build this campaign the right way: powered by Texans, backed by patriots who believe in faith, freedom, and opportunity, and focused on delivering real results for the hardworking families of our district. This campaign is about restoring common sense back to Washington. It’s about ensuring our borders stay secure, restoring energy independence, unleashing prosperity for working families, and preserving the timeless values that made this country great.
