You don’t meet too many cowards as a fighter pilot. You don’t meet too many cowards as an astronaut. But in politics, they seem to be everywhere.

We’re being “led” by sycophants, cowards, and opportunists. And working Texans are paying the price.

Let’s run down what we’ve seen in just the last few weeks:

• The President claims to support free speech while his FCC shakes down media networks like a mob boss.
• The FBI caught Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, accepting a $50,000 bribe — and Kash Patel’s FBI shut the investigation down.
• And when the Bureau of Labor Statistics had more bad inflation numbers? They delayed releasing the report.

This is government by cronies. It’s corrupt, incompetent, and completely out of touch with working people.

I didn’t risk my life in war zones or command missions on the International Space Station to sit back and let our democracy rot from the inside out.

Fighting is what I know. And fighting is what I’ll do as the next Senator from Texas.
