Right now, we are facing the largest food crisis in modern history. Millions lack the nutrition they need to survive. Hunger is facing one generation and then the next.

Your gift of meals can make all the difference for suffering families living in the toughest places.

Over the next three months, Unto plans to send nearly 2 million meals to suffering people in eight countries. Thanks to bulk donations, volunteers and other generous partners, your gift will multiply eight times in impact to provide meals for those facing food insecurity. You will also give them the opportunity to hear about Jesus!

Your support will impact people like Mudiwa – a mom to a “differently abled” child.

People in her village used to blame her for her daughter’s condition and asked her what she did wrong to bring this suffering upon her family. Others told her to keep her daughter at home and to never take her out in public. Many viewed her and her family as cursed.

After a historic drought devastated crops in their area, the local Unto staff were able to deliver meals to those who did not have enough to eat. They also distributed other essential supplies. The field team commented that the food came at just the right time and was truly a gift from God.

Mudiwa was so grateful for the gift of meals. She is part of a support group for mothers of children with disabilities. Several years ago, the local staff team formed the group to help families with children who face physical or mental challenges. They provide the families with meals and other resources. They also share the message of Jesus. 

Today, Mudiwa follows Jesus and knows her daughter has been created in the image of God. She is able to pass this truth on to her daughter and many others.

As the global food crisis continues, now is our chance to continue providing lifesaving meals to families like Mudiwa’s. In order to ensure that every meal makes it into the hands of those facing acute hunger, $50,000 is needed by October 31.
