Introducing our host!
We’re now over the moon to announce that our host, for this wonderful night, will be powerhouse broadcaster and journalist Kirsty Gallacher. After 20 years anchoring Sky Sport News’ flagship show, Kirsty has taken on many high-profile roles, from co-presenting Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway to fronting the iconic Gladiators revival in 2008. She now hosts Gold FM’s new drive time show Drive with Kirsty Gallacher from Monday to Friday.
An animal champion
But, here at Born Free, we know Kirsty best for her big love of wild animals! With compassion at her heart, she is a precious, long-term Born Free Patron, and helps us campaign against captive exploitation. She even helped give Sandro the tiger – rescued from a terrible zoo in Spain – a fantastic forever home at a sanctuary in Italy.
Kirsty will be joined by our other Patrons and special guests at our Footsteps to Freedom Ball, in March 2026. Together, we can’t wait to welcome you! The captivating evening, at this stunning London venue, will raise vital funds to support wild animal care and conservation. Together, we can help stop exploitation and keep rare species safe.
