Friends, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to this incredible grassroots team for all of your birthday wishes.
You truly made my day! Especially now, as this second Trump administration brings daily challenges and relentless attacks on our rights and freedoms, knowing you’re with me keeps me ready to fight.
My parents, who were social justice warriors throughout their whole lives, taught me a long time ago that people power is the most potent power there is. That still holds true today, and it’s why this team matters so much.
We the people can take down bullies. Stand up for the downtrodden. Demand justice, equity, and safety for all people.
Believing that inspires me to keep fighting, and makes me so grateful to stand alongside you in this work.
