We do not need to accept the Trump regime as our reality.

Ayanna Pressley for Congress

I believe in the power of the people. Together we’ve won victories by standing up to Trump’s recklessness and lawlessness. Can you join our fight with a donation today?

Movement family, ever since the occupant of the White House began his second term, it feels like we’ve been on the defensive. Their goal is to overwhelm us and flood the zone, making us forget our power.

But two things can be true at once, and these past nine months have demonstrated that we are not powerless. We do not need to accept the worst case scenario as an inevitability.

I believe in the power of the people. And the people have won victories after standing up to Trump’s recklessness and lawlessness. I’m here to remind you that Democrats can still advance progress as the minority.

That was true when a federal judge blocked Trump’s executive order ending the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.

That was true when we brought my constituent, Rümeysa Öztürk, back home to the MA-07 after she was unlawfully detained for simply exercising her fundamental First Amendment rights.

That was true when my Democratic colleagues and I on the House Oversight Committee forced a subpoena of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

That’s still true today, as we continue to fight for policies that help people afford to live in their communities, access health care, feel truly safe, and thrive.

Democrats have an obligation to do everything we possibly can to fight back, apply pressure, mitigate the pain they’re trying to cause, and save lives. We’re going to have to keep at it, and I’m in this fight all the way.

As a completely grassroots-funded campaign, our team relies on your help to keep our movement strong. Not only are we fighting to defend our communities and our civil rights, but we’re also fighting to advance progress. Will you chip in $25 or any amount to help us secure more victories for the people?
