Friend,
King County families work hard every day to provide for their loved ones, pay their taxes, and build a better future. It’s only fair that their local government works just as hard for them.
But today, too many of our county employees are still working almost entirely from home — even as the County continues to grow its workforce and ask taxpayers for more of their hard-earned money. That’s not right.
I believe government should be accountable, accessible, and responsive. That’s why I am introducing legislation requiring a majority of King County employees to show up to their office, in-person, for the majority of the workweek. Because when employees are in the office, the public can better access the services they pay for — and taxpayers get the accountability they deserve.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about fairness and common sense. The County has asked for five new taxes from residents this year alone, but even with higher taxes, the County continues to provide less efficient services to taxpayers. This needs to change.
But I can’t do this alone. My fight for accountability in County government depends on your support. Will you stand with me today by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100, or even $250 to my campaign? Every dollar helps us spread the word that taxpayers deserve better from their government. Donate here.
Together, we can ensure King County delivers results for the people it serves — not excuses.
Thank you for your support,
Reagan Dunn
