When we keep saying our democracy itself is under attack, we really mean it.

As I’ve said from minute one: Donald Trump wants to be a dictator.

Need proof? Look at the f**king Department of Labor:

Holy propaganda. You know he actually spent taxpayer money on this? That’s small dictator energy.

Yeah, it’s not masked men in the streets abducting American citizens. It’s not the National Guard in American cities. It’s not any number of incredibly urgent, incredibly fascist things that are happening right now. But that picture kind of says it all, doesn’t it?

How did it get to this? Like I’ve always pointed out, the signs were there. Need a refresher? Well, there was the time he said he was gonna be a dictator on national television, there was the time he admitted to reading Hitler’s speeches for inspiration, and let’s not forget all of those “bull sessions” he had with Putin and Kim Jong Un. I’m still not totally sure how voters missed this, but yeah, Trump acts like a goddamn fascist 24/7.

He’s already silenced Colbert and Kimmel for not kissing his orange ass. And if we don’t act soon, he’s gonna move on to news networks, schools, and public libraries. Think I’m kidding? Hell no. This is his mission. Burning down democracy and pissing on the ashes is exactly what he set out to do.

I’m not gonna sugarcoat this. This is a dangerous time for America. We have a senile, wannabe dictator at the controls and he’s doing weird shit. But hey, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a silver lining here. This is still America. The pro-democracy movement is still around. And if we band together, pool our resources, and keep our one goal in mind, we can take down Donald Trump and his plot for a fascist takeover. 

The groundwork is there, folks. Our side is already kicking ass in these special elections. Our next step is the midterms. We have to overachieve in the midterms.
