John,
Hundreds of thousands of AFGE members and allies turned out for the first No Kings action in June. Our action in this rally, and similar mobilization helped us hold off layoffs at dozens of agencies, protected our pensions from legislative attacks, and safeguarded tens of thousands of our jobs from being cut.
Now it’s time to do it again.
On October 18, we’re taking it to the next level with No Kings 2.0. This is our moment to show that AFGE members aren’t going anywhere: we’re building power together.
✊Take the first step: RSVP and tell us how you want to plug in to the No Kings 2.0 actions.
Here’s how you can take action:
-
ATTEND: Commit to showing up and standing with your union family.
-
GATHER: Bring 2–3 coworkers, friends, or family members. Power grows when we move together — start a quick group chat and make a plan.
-
HELP COORDINATE: Support turnout for your local — we’ll connect you with other members to recruit.
-
LEAD: Step up as a Rally Captain and help direct your local’s delegation.
We’ll make sure you’re ready with:
-
Town Hall with President Kelley (late Sept.) – Hear directly about what’s at stake and how AFGE is fighting back.
-
Skills Training (early Oct.) – Practice quick invite conversations and get equipped to recruit and lead.
-
Protest Kits & Safety Support – Signs, chants, checklists — everything you need for a strong, safe action.
No Kings 2.0 is about more than one day, it is about standing together to create political and media pressure.
✊Take the first step: RSVP and tell us how you want to plug in to the No Kings 2.0 actions.
In Solidarity,
AFGE
