We know that with so much going on in Washington these days, it’s hard to keep track of everything happening.
We know that with so much going on in Washington these days, it’s hard to keep track of everything happening.
That’s why, as we near the end of the third quarter of the year, we want to share some of Sarah’s work and show you how your support has kept her focused on what matters most.
We’ll share more in a moment — but if you’re short on time, will you pitch in $5 now? We’re coming up on our Q3 FEC public fundraising deadline at the end of the month, and your contribution will go a long way in helping us finish this quarter strong!
Here’s what Sarah’s been up to over the last three months:
- Voted NO on Trump’s Big Ugly Bill, the single largest cut to Medicaid and food assistance, and the largest transfer of wealth to the rich, in American history. And Sarah didn’t just vote no — she’s continued to expose its devastating impacts.
- Unanimously passed her first bill in Congress. Sarah worked across the aisle to pass the Equal Opportunity for All Investors Act, which will open the doors for more people — especially women, veterans, and people of color — to become investors, while helping small businesses access the resources they need to grow and create jobs.
- Defended transgender troops by taking to the House floor to condemn Trump’s trans military ban. These are Americans who served our nation with distinction, and they were forced out of our military for daring to live openly as transgender.
- Fought to protect food access. She joined the effort to reinstate $500 million in deliveries to food banks — a cruel cut by the USDA that means empty shelves and fewer meals for children in Delaware and across the country.
- Spoke out against Trump’s authoritarian power grabs. From Donald Trump’s threats to abolish mail-in voting to gerrymandering districts and deploying our National Guard into our streets, Sarah has continued to speak out against Trump’s abuse of power.
- Protected our water. Sarah helped successfully block efforts to roll back funding for the Delaware River Basin Commission and its ban on fracking — protecting drinking water for more than 13 million people.
- Keeping up the pressure on the FBI to release the Epstein Files. The American people deserve answers, and the survivors deserve justice. That’s why Sarah signed onto a bipartisan discharge petition to force a vote on the full release of the Epstein Files.
- Rallied with the Delaware AFL-CIO in Wilmington. Sarah won’t stop advocating for the fair pay, benefits, and rights Delaware’s working families deserve.
Thank you for being part of this grassroots team. Your support has allowed Sarah to spend less time fundraising and more time holding this administration accountable and standing up for all of us.
If you’re able, will you pitch in $5 or whatever makes sense for you to support Sarah’s work inside and outside of Congress?
