Every day, we’re waking up to more news about Republican policies that hurt the middle class and steal from working families to fund tax breaks for billionaires. Since taking power, they have quickly gotten to work cutting Medicaid, slashing food assistance programs, increasing health care premiums, and launching other attacks on our nation’s social safety net.
But here in Michigan, Democrats are showing what it looks like to stand up and push back to stop the damage Republicans are doing and replace it with a chance to build a better future.
That’s why I wanted to personally invite you to join me at the Michigan Democratic Party’s 2025 Best of the West event in October. It’s a chance to reconnect with friends and neighbors, to recognize important progress that we’ve made, and to get fired up for the work ahead.
Our focus is on rebuilding, organizing, and winning, including getting Democrats back in the majorities in Michigan and D.C.
