Dear John,
On behalf of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID), we are pleased to invite you to the launch of our World Policy Forum for timely conversations on issues relating to international affairs and global security.
Our first panel will focus on the The Muslim Brotherhood which remains one of the most debated movements in modern politics. Across the Middle East, its role has been alternately cast as a threat to stability, a vehicle for democratic participation, or a convenient political scapegoat. Governments and policymakers continue to wrestle with whether the label of “terrorism” applied to the Brotherhood is grounded in evidence or driven by political agendas.
