After what will be more than eight years of dedicated and visionary service, Aspen Institute President and CEO Dan Porterfield has announced that he will complete his tenure in the summer of 2026. Dan will remain in his role for almost a full year and through the completion of the search for the Institute’s next President and CEO.
Since joining the Institute in 2018, Dan has led the organization through a period of growth, innovation, and renewal. Under his leadership, the Institute approved a new and ambitious strategic plan, launched a historic $450 million campaign, and significantly expanded its global reach and impact.
