Just a few weeks ago, a series of devastating earthquakes struck an already suffering Afghanistan. Tell Congress: Kids and families are reeling without enough access to food, clean water, shelter and medical care. [[link removed]]

John,
The last thing children and families in Afghanistan needed was another catastrophe.
The recent earthquakes brought even more tragedy to those facing hunger, hardship and deep poverty.
Take a glimpse at the destruction:
* More than 2,200 people confirmed killed, more than half of them children
* More than 3,460 people injured
* More than 38,000 people living in makeshift tents or shelters
Nearly half a million people need humanitarian aid because of these earthquakes, on top of over 22.9 million across the country who already did.
But the U.S. government ended all lifesaving assistance to Afghanistan in April β and remains silent in the wake of this crisis.
We refuse to turn our backs on any child, anywhere. Urge Congress to send urgent disaster relief to the families who desperately need it. [[link removed]]
DEMAND URGENT SUPPORT [[link removed]]
John, rescue teams are still uncovering the dead as they reach remote mountain villages cut off by rockfalls.
Everything is buried beneath rubble β food, clothing, blankets, basic comforts.
Survivors are flooding overburdened, undersupplied health clinics.
Agriculture, livestock and other rural livelihoods have been wiped out.
Please, speak up now. Children and families in Afghanistan need immediate aid to survive β and long-term support to rebuild. [[link removed]]
Thanks for standing with children in Afghanistan,
