My name is Joel Willett, and weeks ago, my name appeared in an article as a potential U.S. Senate candidate. Most people barely noticed, because they have lives to live: jobs, bills to pay, and frankly, far more important things to do.

But Tulsi Gabbard and Donald Trump noticed.

Two weeks after that article came out, my security clearance was revoked by Tulsi Gabbard. Then the attacks started coming in from Laura Loomer and the right-wing machine. Then came the death threats.

Instead of backing down, I remembered that everything I've done was in service to my country, to uphold our Constitution, and to protect our American way of life. So in a way, they made it clear what I needed to do next: run for U.S. Senate.

I grew up in Valley Station, Kentucky. My parents struggled with addiction, the lights didn’t always turn on, and money was always tight. But because of my grandparents, my church, and a whole lot of luck, I got to live my American Dream.

At 17, I joined the Army National Guard right after 9/11. I served in the CIA, supported the President in the White House Situation Room, and ran businesses that put hundreds of people to work.

Nothing about my story was inevitable or easy, and I fought like hell every step of the way. Now, I’m running for U.S. Senate because too many Kentuckians are being steamrolled by a corrupt political system that thinks we aren’t worth a damn. This fight isn’t mine alone — it’s part of a bigger movement to protect our democracy and elect leaders who put people first. That’s why I’m asking you to stand with me and Blue Vision.
