Hi John,
On Saturday, we marched in our thousands through central London under the Make Them Pay banner. Climate activists, workers, families and community members all came together with three simple demands:
1. Tax the super-rich
2. Protect workers, not billionaires
3. Make polluters pay
Together, we united across communities to send a clear message: that billionaires and polluting corporations are breaking our public services and destroying our world. And we won’t let them distract us by stoking hate and division.
If you joined us, thank you. If you weren’t able to come this time then don’t worry, there will be loads more opportunities to get involved and support different ways to build pressure on the government to make them pay.
We want people far and wide to hear our message and see the powerful potential of this movement. Can you watch and share this video from the day to help us do that?

I know I don’t need to tell you that now is a dangerous moment. The far-right is on the rise in the UK and around the world. But as long as we keep organising so that we can show up and push back together, there’s hope.
On Saturday, we highlighted the real answers to the struggles people are facing. Answers that target the wealthy few who are profiting from our misery and fuelling crises to fill their seemingly bottomless pockets. Answers that reject the targeting of marginalised groups and people seeking asylum.
But this demonstration was just the beginning.
With you and our allies in this ever-growing alliance, we are building a movement that is capable of offering a real alternative. One where communities from every corner of the UK speak with one voice to say: billionaires and big oil are breaking Britain, and our world. It’s time to Make Them Pay.
Thank you for supporting our campaign, and if you can please share this video from the day so that people can be inspired to join our movement.
In solidarity,
Izzie McIntosh
