Earlier this month, Shannon was honored as Legislator of the Year by her alma mater at the CU Buffs football game!

This recognition means a lot. Shannon has never forgotten where she comes from — raised by a single mom and a grandmother who
worked as a blackjack dealer, she’s fought every day to make life better for working families across Colorado.

Shannon doesn’t spend a lot of time thinking about her own accomplishments — she’s focused on the work ahead. That’s why we’d love
