Trump declares "hate" for foes in venom-fueled Charlie Kirk eulogy
An estimated 95,000 MAGA diehards gathered at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, yesterday, ostensbily to memorialize right-wing provocateur Charlie Kirk, whose life was cut short by a 22-year-old assassin's bullet on September 10 in Utah. The garish spectacle, complete with pyrotechnics (super normal) and the ever-present Lee Greenwood, featured a long list of right-wing speakers and sitting US officials, whose speeches ran the gamut from conventional remembrance to wild mythologizing to full-blown, racist hate-screeding. But no one turns a head like Donald J. Trump, and his performance did not disappoint (unless you were hoping for, ya know, a somber call for coming together and a dialing down of violent political rhetoric). Shortly after Erika Kirk delivered the evening's most heartfelt eulogy, in which she said she forgave her husband's murderer, the MAGA cult leader sauntered to the podium and almost immediately turned the venom up to 11. Moments before, Kirk said, "The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love, love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us." Trump offered a counterpoint of sorts, exclaiming, "He did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponents, and I don’t want the best for them. I’m sorry. I am sorry, Erika." Shortly after, Donald wandered off script again, pivoting to...autism. "I think you’re going to find it to be amazing. I think we found an answer to autism. How about that: autism?" Trump said. "Tomorrow, we’re going to be talking in the Oval Office in the White House about autism, how it happens. So we won’t let it happen anymore." Incredible stuff from our great consoler-in-chief.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Trump commits impeachable offense
In an eye-popping social media post on Sunday, the president of the United States PUBLICLY demanded that Attorney General Pam Bondi use her office to prosecute his personal political foes, calling out former FBI Director James Comey, California Sen. Adam Schiff, and New York Attorney General Letitia James by name. Donald Trump clearly has no use for the Constitution or respect for the rule of law, but a sitting president openly demanding the US attorney general wage a vengeance campaign against public servants who dared to hold him accountable in the past is a grotesque abuse of power and — in a normal world — grounds for immediate impeachment.

Proven winner and progressive champion Francesca Hong launches campaign for Wisconsin governor
Francesca Hong for Governor: One of the most progressive members of the Wisconsin state House, Francesca Hong, is launching her campaign to deliver even more wins for the people of Wisconsin — and keep Republicans from seizing control of this critical battleground state. The daughter of immigrants, and a former chef, Francesca made history as the first Asian-American elected to the state legislature and helped build a coalition to stop the GOP from gerrymandering Wisconsin yet again. She’s no stranger to confrontation with Trump, having introduced the Keep Families Together Act to stop ICE from tearing families apart, and she is ready to carry that energy all the way to the governor’s mansion. Will you chip in to help jump-start her campaign and keep Wisconsin in Democratic hands?
Trump claims babies being given "massive vaccines like you'd give to a horse" as autism announcement looms
Neither Donald Trump nor roadkill barbeque pitmaster Robert F. Kennedy has any medical training or expertise, but that certainly won't stop either ignoramus from trampling all over a century of established scientific consensus in the name of virulent stupidity. Speaking from Air Force One, the MAGA cult leader opined, "Vaccines are very interesting. They can be great, but when you put the wrong stuff in them, you know… And, you know, children get these massive vaccines like you'd give to a horse… like you'd give to a horse." No, Mr. President! We *don't* know! But we do have questions. Like, did you take Don Jr. and Eric to equine vets when they were young because you knew they would become colossal jackasses, or is that just a weird coincidence? And why the pivot on equestrian medicine? Aren't you worried you'll upset the ivermectin enthusiasts in MAGA's do-your-own-research coalition?

DOJ shuts down probe of Trump border czar Tom Homan allegedly caught in FBI sting
Oh, hey, would you look at that? The wannabe dictator's brazenly racist "border czar" Tom Homan was allegedly caught red-handed last year accepting a $50,000 cash bribe from undercover FBI agents posing as business executives hoping to obtain government contracts in the event Trump won the 2024 election. The investigation, started during the Biden administration, was handed over to the Trump administration, which promptly, conveniently, and quietly shut it down. But don't worry, folks. FBI Director Kash Patel and Trump's ex-personal-lawyer-turned Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the probe was "subjected to a full review by FBI agents and Justice Department prosecutors" and they found "no credible evidence of any criminal wrongdoing," which we can totally accept on faith from a regime that has consistently telegraphed and followed through on its vow to politicize federal law enforcement and put Donald Trump's interests above those of the country.

Trump officials reportedly set to tie Tylenol to autism risk
Contrary to medical guidelines, and despite decades of medical consensus showing acetaminophen (known as paracetamol outside the United States) is perfectly safe for pregnant women to take, the Trump administration is set to drop an atom-bomb sized announcement on the public, tieing Tylenol, the country's most popular over-the-counter pain reliever, to an increased risk of autism. Stand by for fits of hysteria on cries of conspiracy ringing out across the right-wing airwaves.
This rollback could turn over 45 million acres of national forestlands to private logging companies
Earthjustice: National forests that are part of our public lands system are under attack by the Trump administration. For nearly 25 years, pristine forests in backcountry lands across the nation have been off limits to massive corporate logging operations, thanks to a Forest Service policy known as the Roadless Rule. These forests provide vital wildlife habitat; protect clean, mountain-fed drinking water for millions of Americans; and provide endless recreational opportunities like camping, hunting, fishing, rafting, and mountain biking. Join the fight to protect the forests that belong to all of us by keeping the Roadless Rule in place!
"Absolutely inappropriate!" Rand Paul smokes Trump’s FCC chair for going after Jimmy Kimmel
Sen. Rand Paul blasted FCC Chair Brendan Carr for publicly pressuring ABC to suspend late-night host and frequent Trump critic Jimmy Kimmel last week. Pressed for his thoughts on the matter while appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, Paul flatly responded, "Absolutely inappropriate. Brendan Carr has got no business weighing in on this." Correct! Now do something about it, Rand! You're a dadgum United States senator, for gosh sakes!
MAGA rapper featured at RNC drops "Make America White Again" album
Cool, cool, cool. South Florida native Kurt Jantz, professionally known as Forgiato Blow, just dropped his latest turd of an album, entitled "Make America White Again." In the title track, Jantz refers to himself as a "white n*gga" and repeatedly proclaims that "white lives matter." Previous releases include "Alligator Alcatraz" and a collaboration with fellow racist dirtbag JJ Lawhorn called "Good vs Evil," where the pair call for the return of public lynchings. "We oughta do it like they did it way back in the day / 'Cause granddaddy's way works best," Jantz raps. Nope, nothing super problematic there! Oh, Marjorie Taylor Greene makes an appearance in one of Blow's music videos, and his song "Trump Trump Baby," made with Amber Rose, was featured during the 2024 Republican National Convention. Neat!
