John, For years, Democrats in Congress have been lobbying to make Washington, D.C. the 51st state. Although D.C. residents have proven to vote overwhelmingly liberal in the last decade, this movement does not appear to be going away anytime soon… And not to mention, this would UNDOUBTEDLY add more Democrats, following the radical Left's agenda to Congress.
