This weekend, the Save America Movement launched one of our boldest ads yet in front of millions of Americans through our largest ad buy to date.

On Saturday, during the Auburn–Oklahoma game, and again on Sunday during the Jaguars–Texans matchup, we ran our “Pledge Ad.”

If you haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, the ad shows a chilling future: a child in school, hand over heart, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, not to the flag, but to Donald Trump.

It’s fictional, but not far-fetched. If you listen to their words, it’s exactly where Trump and his allies want to take this country: a culture of love for the leader instead of the country. A culture of obedience instead of individual thought. A culture of oppression, not freedom.

Running ads like this during major college and NFL games is not cheap. But it’s worth it. It’s how we break through the noise. It’s how we present the truth about Trump’s authoritarian ambitions to Americans who may not be paying close attention otherwise. It’s how we make clear to the folks who support our movement that we’re putting our money where our mouths are.
