Trump Officials Preach Gospel, Praise God at Charlie Kirk Memorial Service |
by S.A. McCarthy |
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was honored Sunday in a memorial service attended by President Donald Trump and members of his administration, where Kirk's Christian faith took center stage. "It's like an old-time revival, isn't it?" the president asked, after listening to Charlie's family, TPUSA colleagues, and friends in the administration preach the gospel for five hours in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. |

Will Democrats Blink? Race to Stop a Shutdown Stalls in Senate |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
It's easy to forget in the horror of this last week and a half that there's actually business to do on Capitol Hill. But apparently, a national tragedy hasn't prompted Democrats to set aside their differences and work with Republicans on the common goals of Congress - like passing a budget. If anything, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's (D-N.Y.) party has only thrown more obstacles onto the road that GOP leaders need to travel to keep the lights on. But, as everyone should know by now, it takes a lot more than that to rattle this House speaker. |

Christianity, Islam, and the Double Standards of the Leftist Media |
by Joshua Arnold |
During a city council meeting last week, Dearborn Heights, Michigan Mayor Abdullah Hammoud uttered remarks that, in any other context, would have incited a nationwide media firestorm. When a Christian resident objected to renaming a local road after a news publisher who glorified Hamas and Hezbollah, the mayor responded that he was simply "not welcome here." The leftist media responded to this inflammatory comment by ignoring it. |

During President Donald Trump's state visit to the United Kingdom, he announced that the U.S. is "trying to get back" the former American-operated Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, in part to counter the threat of China's growing military in the region. The comments came as a Chinese military official declared that the communist regime is "always ready" to defeat any foreign efforts at defending Taiwan. |

Crime and What the Pundits Meant |
by Joshua Arnold |
Tackling violent crime may require creative solutions, but the creativity Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) offered on a recent podcast only did violence to the dictionary. "I do want people to know that, just because someone has committed a crime, it doesn't make them a criminal," she told Jonathan Van Ness, the long-haired host of the "Getting Better" podcast. "That is completely different. Being a criminal is more so about your mindset. Committing a crime can come for a lot of different reasons." |

by Mark Tapscott |
Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) are leveraging the rapidly shortening deadline for Congress to avoid a government shutdown in an effort to force Republicans to restore nearly $1.5 trillion in federal spending cuts approved just weeks ago in President Donald Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act of 2025 (OBBB). |

God's Canvas: Where Sin's Stain Meets the Beautiful Strokes of Grace |
by Sarah Holliday |
It's strange. Sometimes, I'm inclined to believe the world almost appears more beautiful in the midst of tragedy. It's not that tragedy is beautiful, no. Rather, amid chaos, pain, and suffering, a truth often pierces through: the world is not inherently ugly. It's sin. Sin is what's ugly. |

The Harms of AI Chatbots on the Family |
by Conner Anderson |
Artificial intelligence shapes our society in numerous ways. It provides easier access to a wide range of information, helps ease the stress of brainstorming, and answers the menial questions we're too embarrassed to ask an actual person. Despite these common uses of AI, many are completely unaware of the consequences of its emergence - especially the impact on the family itself. |

Charlie and Iryna: Everybody Matters or Nobody Matters |
by Pamela Pyle |
Death most commonly approaches like a steam engine. The whistle blows and is followed by the low rumble of the engine, and we can sense the friction of the wheels upon the track. When it finally rounds that last corner, we are prepared as it approaches. Death has arrived. But sometimes death arrives like a semi-truck that's run a stop sign. Death has arrived without warning. This happened for Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska. It could happen to us on a sunny day on campus or a dark night home on the train. |
