1️⃣ Protecting the Constitution and democracy, especially voting rights, civil rights, and equality
2️⃣ American government stability
3️⃣ Major cuts to Medicaid and food assistance to pay for tax cuts for billionaires
4️⃣ Public health and disease prevention
The majority of respondents said they were ‘very concerned’ about the newly enacted Congressional map in Texas and also expressed strong support for states taking action to counterbalance gerrymandering.
Eight months into Trump’s return to the White House, the overwhelming sentiment is fear, anger, and deep concern for the future of democracy. You’re not alone. Lizzie and all of us on the team share these concerns.
