First up, we have an exciting in-person meeting! We'll be updating our EBYD Policy Platform and voting on our position on Proposition 50! This is the first EBYD policy platform update since 2019, and it represents an important opportunity for us to map out our advocacy priorities for the years ahead! Did you know that the East Bay Young Democrats is part of a wider network of Young Democrat groups across the Bay Area? Well, we are! And our fellow Young Dems from across the Bay Area will be coming to the Melrose Branch Library in Oakland on Saturday, October 4th from 3-6 PM for a regional training/convening: The Power of Us: Advocacy with Care! This is a great opportunity to meet with Young Dems from across the Bay Area, learn about the good work folks are doing, enjoy some delicious bites, and even get free headshots!
