We need to level with you: Everything is on the line.
Donald Trump and Texas Republicans have launched an unprecedented scheme to rig next year’s elections before they even begin. Their goal is simple: steal enough seats to seize Congress regardless of what voters decide.
But California Strong Democrats like Gov. Gavin Newsom dared to fight back. We’re now their biggest obstacle. And that’s why they’re flooding our state with lies and dark money to try to defeat Proposition 50 — our firewall against Trump’s election rigging scheme.
And right now, our budget is running dangerously low. Unless we raise $10,000 before midnight, we won’t be able to expand our canvassing plans or scale our literature distribution, which will leave undecided voters without the facts they need to vote YES on Prop 50.
