Democrats cannot afford to pick and choose where we fight. Every seat matters. Every district matters. We have to put up a fight to win.
With the right attention and support, NY-11 becomes a competitive district. It was held by a Democrat just a few years ago, and if we out-work and out-organize Nicole Malliotakis, we will flip this seat back into the blue column and retire the only Republican Member of Congress from New York City, a critical step toward reclaiming the House majority.
Republicans have the deep pockets of special interests behind them. But I believe in the power of people. Our campaign is powered by educators, working families, neighbors, and activists who know Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn deserve better.
