House Republicans are once again putting their own interests ahead of their constituents. They’ve passed a budget that takes health care away from millions of people and forces rural hospitals to close. Their agenda is historically unpopular — and the DNC is targeting 35 vulnerable Republican districts to make sure voters are ready to hold their representatives accountable at the ballot box.

FOUR SEATS WILL GIVE DEMOCRATS SENATE CONTROL.

Democrats have a real path to taking back the Senate, and it just keeps getting wider. Republican Senator Joni Ernst just announced she won’t be seeking reelection in Iowa — giving Democrats another opportunity to pick up a seat. That’s on top of big opportunities in North Carolina and Ohio, after former Governor Roy Cooper and former Senator Sherrod Brown entered races in their states. But make no mistake: These races will be close and every single vote will count.

If Democrats can win back Congress, we can check Trump’s power and prevent more damage and destruction. But here’s the thing:

REPUBLICANS ARE TRYING TO RIG THE SYSTEM TO STOP US.

Trump and his allies are doing everything they can to keep control of Congress. They’ve redrawn congressional maps in states like Texas and Missouri to give themselves more seats, and this could just be the beginning.

Democrats are fighting back — including redrawing maps in states like California to counter Republicans’ moves in Texas. But the only way we’re going to win this fight and protect our democracy is if we all get involved now.
