Dear John,

We’re winning the clean energy fight – but we need to win it faster.

Solar installations are breaking records every month. Electric vehicles are outselling gas cars in key markets. Clean energy jobs are growing faster than any other sector. The transition we’ve been working toward for years is finally happening at scale.

But powerful fossil fuel interests and their allies are fighting back harder than ever, spending millions to slow progress and protect their profits – especially in Ohio. They’re rolling back clean energy policies, spreading disinformation, and blocking the infrastructure we need to complete this transition.

That’s why Columbus Stand Up is joining Sun Day Columbus at an event TODAY. Find Shy at our table!

Sun Day is a nationwide celebration of clean energy progress and a call to accelerate the transition that's already underway. We'll be joining communities across the country to showcase the businesses, organizations, and families that are already leading the way to a clean energy future.

Today you can join the celebrations at Sun Day Columbus from 2:30 to 4:30PM at Corban Commons, 3426 Corban Commons Drive, Columbus, OH 43219. Corban Commons is an affordable senior living center in Columbus that recently added a large rooftop and groundmount solar array.

Join us at 2:30PM to speak with climate, sustainability and renewable energy organizations in Central Ohio. Presentations begin at 3PM on Ohio-specific solar challenges and opportunities, including the potential for industrial-scale solar, agrivoltaics, and community solar legislation. Children can participate in art activities, and snacks will be provided. There will be additional tabling and mingling after the presentations until 5PM.

See you this afternoon!
