Team, we know it’s a Saturday so we’ll be quick:

Tomorrow, Mikie Sherrill is going to debate Jack Ciattarelli for the first time in the general election — and her plan is to speak directly to the people of New Jersey.

While other politicians (like Mikie’s opponent) might be looking for a viral moment or a snappy soundbite, that’s not the kind of politics that Mikie practices, team.

When Mikie takes the stage at Rider University tomorrow, her only goal is to give voters a window into the differences between  her vision for our state — lower costs, a brighter future for our kids, and a better quality of life for Jersey families — with that of her opponent, who wants to bring the worst of the Trump agenda to New Jersey. This debate is a critical opportunity to inform voters who are still on the fence about this race about the stakes for their lives.
