I am shocked, heartbroken, and deeply angered by this needless tragedy. Charlie Kirk was a true American patriot and a fearless voice for conservative principles — free speech, limited government, and Christian values.

Charlie married conviction with courage. He inspired countless young people to take action, to never take their rights for granted, and to stand for truth in every situation. He stood behind President Trump from the beginning and never wavered in his defense of American liberty and President Trump’s America First agenda.

My prayers are with his wife, Erika, their two children. I STRONGLY condemn the act of political violence that took this great American from his family, and vow to always stand against evils such as this that work only to push us apart. Horrific tragedies like this should not be allowed to repeat themselves.
