“Democrat Wins Iowa Senate Race, Upending Republican Supermajority”

That’s right: I won’t sugarcoat things – the Democrats just won a stunning political upset over Republicans in ruby-red Iowa!

And now, we also have to defend a newly OPEN seat in my state that could tip the balance of power for President Trump’s Senate majority in the midterms.

But here’s the silver lining: The Democrats didn’t win on the issues. They won simply because they turned out a much larger percentage of their voters than Republicans did.

In fact, that’s a pattern we’ve been seeing all year…

Per Cook Political Report: “Republicans just can’t count on Trump’s more peripherally-engaged voters to show up when Trump isn’t on the ballot.

...across two House special elections… Democrats have been averaging 63% of Harris’s 2024 vote totals while Republicans have been averaging just 45% of Trump’s.

If those numbers hold true for the midterms, it will be a disaster for Republicans. We could LOSE even here in Iowa and be forced to hand power in the Senate to radical, far-Left Democrats.

It would truly be a nightmare scenario for our country.
