Hi John,
Voto Latino co-founder and president María Teresa Kumar was on Morning Joe this week to talk about how voter registration directly shapes our government — who represents us and the policies they pass. We’ll explain why our voter registration work matters more than ever, but if you’re already with us, please chip in to help us register new Latino voters >> [[link removed]]

When Voto Latino co-founded National Voter Registration Day in 2012, we didn’t know if it would catch on. Fast forward to today: we have thousands of partners, and in the last decade, more than 6 million Latinos have heeded the call and registered to vote.
Here’s what we’ve learned:
>> In 2018, historic turnout led to the most diverse U.S. House of Representatives ever.
>> In 2020, record-breaking participation — even during a pandemic — showed just how much people value their democracy.
>> But in 2022 and again in 2024, we saw a dip in registration and voter turnout. And with that, we lost momentum for the change we know is possible.
The message is clear: when we register and vote, we make change happen.
John, our community is currently facing real, urgent challenges. That’s why voting is more important than ever. We’re working to register as many new Latino voters as possible — but we can’t do it without your support. Can you make a quick donation to power this critical work?
