Y’all, Texas democracy is under attack. 

Republicans, spurred on by Donald Trump, rammed through a mid-decade redistricting plan to carve out five more congressional seats for themselves.

Texas Democrats took extraordinary action to fight back: fleeing the state in protest, enduring arrest warrants, fines, and confinement to break quorum and delay these maps. 

But even though we lost that fight, our work is by no means over. In fact, here at Texas Majority PAC, our work is only just getting started:

And we’re recruiting regular, hard-working Texans to run for office and volunteer to have real conversations with their neighbors about how we win in Texas.
