It is an honor to represent and work for Coloradans in Congress. But in all honesty, running for Congress was never about me. It was about us.

As a community, we were tired of partisan politics. For nearly a decade, the GOP incumbent in Colorado’s 6th District was too busy raking in thousands from the NRA and supporting Donald Trump’s far-right agenda to care about the issues impacting Coloradans most.

We needed real representation.

We deserved a new generation of leadership in Congress.

So together, we did the unthinkable. Voters in CO-06 flipped the district blue and elected a Democratic representative for the first time in history.

That’s no small feat — and it certainly couldn’t have been done by just one person. It took all of us, knocking on thousands of doors, putting up hundreds of yard signs, and chipping in a few dollars at a time to emails like this one, that made the difference.

I’m writing all of this because now, more than ever, Americans are ready for a new generation of Democratic leaders who will stand up to wannabe dictators like Trump and his MAGA allies in Congress who prioritize profits over people.

I don’t take a dime from corporate PACs, so our campaign is counting on your support to get ahead these last few weeks.
