John, Ben will always be my “why.”

Ben is my 37-year-old son who was born with cerebral palsy. I got my start in public service as an advocate, helping to ensure that children like Ben would be fully included in their communities and have the same opportunities that all parents want for their children.
Now, with extremists like Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. attacking key rights and protections for the disability community, that mission has become more important than ever.
That’s why I’ve taken on RFK Jr. for his radical conspiracy theories, his anti-vaccine platform, and his blatant attacks on Americans who live with disabilities. And I’ve stood up to Trump’s efforts to slash Medicaid and government services that the disability community relies on.
Today, more than 70 million Americans report that they are living with a disability. It’s clear: We need leaders in the U.S. House and Senate who will fiercely advocate for disabled folks to have the access to the health care, caretakers, jobs, and lives that they deserve.
So I’m personally asking, John: Will you please chip in $10 or more — split between me and Blue Amp Action — to elect a wave of disability champions to Congress in 2026 who will stand up to Trump and RFK Jr.’s attacks?
I’ll always be fighting for folks like Ben to have a chance to succeed. Thanks for all your support.
With every good wish,
Maggie Hassan
