ACLU Supporter, in the past month, President Trump's abuse of power has reached new levels. He's sent the National Guard into American cities to patrol our streets. His administration has slashed Medicaid. He's sent masked officers into our communities to conduct raids in communities across the country. He's opened new detention centers mired in reports of inhumane treatment and due process violations. This is the moment for national action. We showed the strength of our movement this summer with millions peacefully turning out to condemn the Trump administration's abuse of power – and we're ready to do it again.
The Trump administration's abuses of power are cruel and dangerous. Our families and communities are paying the price for the president's political games, and we can't simply wait for change while our rights are under attack. As President Trump doubles down on his threats to our communities, we're doubling down on our message. When the President abuses his power, he'll have to answer to the people. See you out there!
