The Winchester City Council is currently entertaining the idea of changing Jubal Early Drive. I am opposed to this idea. What’s next? Will we be debating if we should rename Jefferson Street or North or South Washington Street? I am opposed to rewriting history, we should strive to put the past in the proper context, not erase it.
