Since before she was elected, Alexandria has called for an end to this unethical practice.
So last week — alongside a bipartisan coalition — Alexandria introduced the Restore Trust in Congress Act to ban Congressmembers and their dependents from doing just that.
We must do everything we can to restore the American people’s faith in our institutions. That starts with making sure that no one can abuse their position in Congress to make huge profits from the stock market.
