Dallas, Texas — Senator Nathan Johnson raised $170,977 during the first Special Session filing period in support of his bid for Attorney General, triple the haul of any other candidate in the race. From July 15 to August 15, Johnson’s funds came from over 450 individual contributors, including 387 Texans – more than every other candidate combined.
“I am grateful for the support of my campaign for Texas Attorney General, right at its start,” said Johnson. “It’s clear that Texans want change in the office. They want an AG who won’t use the office for personal gain or run it as a partisan tool, one who will uphold our freedoms and protect our rights, and who respects and understands the law.”
In 2018, Nathan Johnson ran for State Senate as an underdog, flipping a seat Republicans had held for over 30 years. Since then he's passed over 130 bills, all with one goal: to make life better for Texans. Now he’s running to ensure Texans have an Attorney General who won’t take orders from Washington DC, or from billionaire tax cheats, but who will take on price gougers and political corruption.
The Democratic Primary for Texas Attorney General will be held on March 6, 2025. For more information, visit NathanforTexas.com.
