Eagle Forum Joins America 250 Civics Education Coalition
Promoting and Preserving Faith, Family and Freedom for All Americans
Eagle Forum is pleased to join The America 250 Civics Education Coalition to advance the United States' legacy of freedom during our Nation’s Semiquincentennial. As a leader in the Pro-family movement, we are delighted to join with the Secretary of Education and other organizations to preserve the strength and health of America and ensure that future generations know and understand our history.

“The inspiring words of the Declaration of Independence changed the course of world history,” said Kris Ullman, President of Eagle Forum. “On July 4, 1776, a nation was born from that Declaration. ‘It stands forever, a light of admonition to the rulers of men; a light of salvation and redemption to the oppressed.’ So said John Quincy Adams on its 45th anniversary. As we celebrate America 250, Eagle Forum is honored to work with Secretary McMahon and our fellow Patriots to make sure Americans understand our legacy, recommit ourselves to its ideals and work tirelessly to strengthen our future.”

As part of the Coalition, Eagle Forum’s grassroots members look forward to welcoming the Trail to Independence Tour to their cities. This program will focus on each state’s individual road to statehood and its unique contributions to the country. In addition, our Student and Young Adult Eagles are excited to take part in and promote The Presidential 1776 Award history competition as well as The Fundamental Liberties College Speaker Series.

“Young people today hunger for truth and we must ensure that they know the truth. Our nation’s birth certificate states, ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.’ What a wonderful opportunity we have to promote these truths as part of the America 250 Civics Education Coalition,” Ullman concluded.
