Virtual Event
Join the Urban Institute, MEF Associates, and the Adjacent Possible for a webinar focused on strategies to strengthen coordination and integration across human services programs. Families seeking support from human services programs can have difficulty navigating the complex systems and silos of state and local agencies. Human services agencies know that cross-agency coordination can help address the challenges varying program eligibility rules and administrative processes create. But existing resources on coordination and integration are often narrowly targeted or written in highly technical ways that can be difficult to understand. How can state and local agencies improve coordination and integration of their programs and services?
To help states and localities improve the experiences of families seeking services or benefits from multiple public benefits programs, the Administration for Children and Families within the US Department of Health and Human Services launched the Supporting Coordinated Benefits Delivery to Foster Whole-Family Approaches project in 2024.
This webinar will introduce the toolkit this project has developed for program administrators. Drawing on the experiences of seven sites that piloted the toolkit, the webinar will highlight how other agencies can use the toolkit to aid coordination and integration amid the changes state and local agencies are facing.
