Hi John.

I hear from Kansans every day who are working hard but are struggling with higher prices — on everything from groceries to health care.

I know how stressful that can be. My mom raised my brothers and me on her own while serving in the Army and Postal Service. We didn’t have much, but we made do. I also worked my way through college and am still paying off my student loans. Our economy needs major changes so hardworking people can finally start getting ahead again.

That's why I'm inviting you to join me for a Call with your Congresswoman. I'll answer your questions about our economy and much more. It'll be on Wednesday, September 17th, at 6:00 PM CT.

Please click here to join my call list now so you can participate and ask your questions.

I'm looking forward to answering your questions. Listening to you always helps me do a better job and informs my decision making.

On my Call with your Congresswoman, you can listen in on your phone and ask me your questions from the convenience of your own home. I'll also be joined by Nick Levendofsky, the Executive Director of the Kansas Farmers Union.

Here are the details:

What: Call with your Congresswoman
When: Wednesday, September 17, at 6:00 PM CT
Special Guest: Nick Levendofsky, Executive Director of the Kansas Farmers Union
RSVP: Click here to signup so you don't miss it.

My focus is on concrete and bipartisan solutions to lower your costs.

That's why I helped pass a law to cap insulin prices at $35 a month for seniors on Medicare. I'm working with Kansas farmers to help them grow and deliver food more cheaply. And I'm pushing for bipartisan, middle class tax cuts.

But I know there's a lot more work to do. That's why I've also directed my office to connect Kansans with resources that can help you right now.

Please visit davids.house.gov/lowercosts to find resources for you and your family. That includes help with groceries, housing, health care, and more.

It's an honor to serve you and your family. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

My warmest regards,
