Celebrate culture, uplift resilience and stand for justice

Friend,
Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month β a time to recognize the rich cultures, vibrant traditions and invaluable contributions of Latinx communities across the United States.
Itβs also an acknowledgment of the resilience and determination Latinx communities have shown in the face of systemic barriers.
π Weβre honoring this month with knowledge. Check out our curated book recommendations highlighting Latinx stories, voices and experiences. By uplifting these narratives, we honor the past, confront the present and help shape a fairer future. >> ([link removed])

The fight for justice persists. Far-right extremists are targeting Latinx communities by ramping up mass deportations, gutting lifesaving health care, slashing nutrition assistance programs and silencing voter power through discriminatory laws.
But your partnership is galvanizing the Southern Poverty Law Center to build power from the ground up and continue fighting for a fairer, more equitable future for all β through legal action, shaping policy, grassroots mobilization and public education.
Thanks to your continued support, we are bringing justice to the forefront this Hispanic Heritage Month by:
Engaging young voters of color with tools to make informed decisions every election.
Backing grassroots organizations that are registering and mobilizing voters around the issues that matter most in their communities.
Providing educators, students and parents with resources that center resilience, diversity and inclusion in the classroom and beyond.
We know there is still much work to be done β but together, we are shifting the narrative and making lasting change that will bring us closer to justice.
